frequently asked questions

Q. What happens during an initial physiotherapy assessment?

At your initial assessment, your therapist will take an in-depth medical history, as it pertains to your current injury. Next, they’ll do an assessment, and use any relevant outcome measures needed in order to ensure a proper diagnosis. From there, you’ll discuss your goals for treatment, and design an individualized plan that helps you achieve them.

You can expect:

  • hands on therapy

  • activity modifications

  • pain management strategies

  • corrective exercises

  • tips for safe exercise

Q. What do I wear for my appointment?

Comfortable, loose fitting exercise clothing is preferred. Please wear something that allows the therapist to expose the injured area for assessment and treatment, if required.

Q. Do you direct bill extended health plans?

Yes, we are happy to direct bill most insurance providers upon request. Please bring your coverage card with you to your first appointment.

Q. Do you accept ICBC or WSBC claims?

At this time, we only accept ICBC claims.
